Characters

FRANK PARKER JR. is originally from Western Massachusetts where he graduated from Wilbraham Academy in 1971. Recently he graduated from Central Piedmont Community College with an A.A.S. Degree in Web Technologies.

 

For most of his career, Frank has been involved

with manufacturing as either as production worker or as a manufacturing quality assurance professional. He is a past member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) and is a Certified Quality Technician and also was a Certified Quality Auditor. Presently he is employed by Bank of America as a member of the Technical Service Team for Cashpro.

 

Frank now resides in Gastonia, NC with his wife Donna, 5 dogs and 4 cats. Meeting each other in 2006 at ConCarolinas they soon realized they had many things in common. Science fiction, a love of music, and of course both are avid animal lovers who both adore ferrets. It was a match made in fandom and the following year at ConCarolinas 2007, they were married.

COMMODORE SAMUEL TOBIAS GRISSOM

Born July 23rd, 2208 the Jovian moon Europa, in thede shadows of Jupiter Station, a Starfleet Research and Development facility in orbit over Jupiter. His father was a warp propulsion engineer, and his mother a xenobiologist. Growing up in a research and development facility, Sam seemed destined to follow in his parents’ footsteps as

civilian contractors working in a lab on Europa.

 

Indeed, that would have been Sam’s fate if he had not stumbled upon the papers and writings of his great-grandfather Samuel, who he was named after. Admiral Grissom was one of the first officers to command a Daedalus Class Starship, which were the backbone of a fledgling Federation Alliance during the Romulan wars. As Sam dove deeper into his ancestor’s life, he knew that he was destined to follow in the Admiral’s footsteps.

GARY DAVIS graduated High School in Newark, Ohio in 1983. He entered the US Navy in December 1983 serving 22 years in a variety of air, sea, and shore based assignments.  Gary ended his military career serving six years in Navy Recruiting first as the Senior Navy Liaison to the the Military Entrance Processing Station for Enlisted Programs, Cleveland, OH, and then

 

the Ohio NROTC Coordinator as part of the Officer Programs.  He attended Florida Central College of Jacksonville, where he received his AS in Computer Information Systems Analysis.  He now works for a furniture franchise company as their IT Manager and Office Manager.

 

Gary’s military decorations include, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, four awards of the Navy Achievement Medal, five awards of the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Joint Expeditionary Medal and several unit awards.

 

In the summer of 2009 , he is married to the former Tracey Goodhue and they now have three children, Jeremy (1987), Christopher (1989), and Daniele (1997).

COMMANDER JASON BROUSSEAU
Immediately after graduating from Starfleet Academy Brousseau was selected to participate in an exchange program with the Vulcans.  For five years, a group of twelve Humans (primarily from Earth) and twelve Vulcans participated in an exchange program.  The Humans lived on Vulcan and served on Vulcan ships. The Vulcans lived on

Earth and served on Human Federation vessels.  Early experiments such as this eventually led to the inclusion of Vulcans on many Human Starfleet vessels.

 

After the exchange program ended, Brousseau went on to serve as Chief Petty Officer on the Essex; then as Lieutenant Commander aboard the Excalibur; then as second in command aboard the Lexington, where he was awarded the Medal of Valor.

 

After some crafty maneuvering, Commodore Grissom acquired Brousseau as the XO onboard the Dominion in 2268.

After her five year stint on the DaVinci, she returned to Starfleet Academy where she served 10 years as a professor, and then as Dean. After leaving the Academy she quickly rose to the rank of Admiral in which she still serves today.

ADMIRAL LAURA BENNETT
Admiral Bennett was a child prodigy. She graduated Starfleet Academy at eighteen years of age, and accepted a rare offer to attend the Academy’s prestigious Starfleet Command Staff College. Upon finishing Command Staff College she served five years aboard the little known Science ship U.S.S. DaVinci. It was there that she met Sam Grissom, who was her

GINA MARIE SPERANZA HERNANDEZ

began her acting career with a Dream role in the Internet Sensation Star Wars: Revelations as Jedi Taryn Anwar. It jump started her professional acting career. She has been featured in many Indy films such as Starship Farragut and currently plays a Homicide Detective on the Sherlock Holmes based TV 

DAVID R WRENN graduated High School in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1970.  He then majored in Architectural Technology in nearby Jamestown, NC.   Randy has been a draftsman for most of his adult life.  In 2011, he attended CPCC in Charlotte, NC where he earned an A.A.S. degree in Web Technology.

 

 

Randy has loved to write since an early age.  He has written short stories, poetry and songs for decades.

COMMANDER STEPHAN DENSON 

After twelve years aboard the U.S.S. Farragut, Denson received the coveted assignment of Chief Engineer aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. He was promoted to the rank of Commander, and served under Captain Christopher Pike. As usual, distinguishing himself on many occasions, often under extreme pressure.

 

In 2264, Denson was assigned the post of Chief Engineer aboard the U.S.S. Dominion, where he remains.

JOHN LACKEY  graduated high school in Jacksonville, Florida in 1999, where he was born and raised.

 

In 2003, he went on to attend Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama where he studied Theatre. During his time at the university he acted, wrote and directed a one act play called Isosceles. He also acted in Star

Spangled Girl, Kentucky Cycle, Importance of Being Earnest, Our Town, A Wonderful Life and several other productions.

 

In 2008, John returned to Jacksonville where he continued his acting career in short films. He is also musically talented. Currently he is working on several projects, where he plays the bass, keyboard and sings.

ENSIGN JASON TAFT  

From early childhood, Taft wanted nothing more than to join Starfleet, and serve aboard a Federation Starship.  However, his family had served in The British Royal Navy for eighteen generations, and he did not want to be the first to break with tradition.  So, as soon as he graduated high school, he enlisted in Her Majesty’s Fleet, and

 

 

rose to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in his four years of service.

 

When he felt he had fulfilled his obligation to tradition, he immediately enrolled in Starfleet Academy where he excelled in everything to do with navigation or helmsmanship. After graduation, he was assigned to the Dominion as it’s first Helmsman and Navigator, where he remains today

DONNA PARKER grew up moving around as a Navy brat. She had studied piano for a summer as a child, and enjoyed music but not practicing. A trip to the library ended up with a discovery of Iaasc Asimov and Arther C Clark. This led to a love of sciene fiction and fantasy. That love led to other bad habits, like attending and working at Science

Fiction conventions. She was working Reg at a SF Convention when her daughter had trouble finding a badge for one of the attendees. It was filed as “Filkferret” instead of “Frank Parker.” And the rest is history..

DOCTOR T'MERYL

T’meryl was born on the planet Vulcan.  Her parents were both Doctors, which inspired and encouraged her to become one as well. In her teens she began studying Medicine. After twelve years of study and research, she was awarded the Dorli-has-tal; the highest honor in the medical field that can be awarded to a Vulcan.

 

After a brief break, she attended Starfleet Academy remotely. Over the years, she mastered many other fields of medicine including psychology.

 

Despite her accomplishments, she had lived a somewhat sheltered life, almost never leaving Vulcan.  However, she had always had a longing to study life, and various forms of medicine in other systems. Finally, she applied for, and was assigned to, the ship’s Doctor position on the Dominion when it became available.

KIM SINGLETARY graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School in Sudbury Massachusetts in 1977.  In 1981 she graduated Bay State Jr College in Boston.   She is currently employed as an Executive assistant at a major reinsurance company in Charlotte, NC.

LT COMMANDER SANDRA PYPER

After high school, Pyper enrolled in Starfleet Academy, majoring in Applied Space Science. After graduating at the head of her class, she accepted the offer to continue her education with three more years at the Starfleet College of Science.

 

 

CRAIG MICHAEL BECK

Originally from sunny California, Craig Michael Beck resides in Savannah, GA and is asked at least once a week if people have ever told him he looks like Edward Norton or a young Gary Oldman. His wife, Parker Beck, is a Production Designer, and together they have 11 children: 6 dogs and 5 cats. While technically childless, Craig is often ironically cast as a father figure

CHIEF JOHNATHAN BROOKS

Chief Brooks defied his Father's wishes to follow him with a career in Medicine, choosing instead to pursue Engineering and Teleportation sciences.

 

His uncany ability to grasp these fields landed him a presigous post aboard the USS Constellation were he served for 4 years.  He was then  transferred to

career in her senior year of High School where she landed her first leading role in the play “The Me Nobody Knows”.

 

Kim is not only an actor, but a singer, humanitarian and activist for “Keeping the Arts” in our schools system.  

 

Various commercials opportunities also came her way within the Queen City from Carolinas Healthcare commercials with Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers to appearances with NASCAR Driver Patricia Danka, to a feature in the North Carolina Education Lottery Commercial, which has lead up to her current role as Lt. Commander Sandra Piper of the Farragut on the U.S.S. Dreadnought Dominion.

 

Kim looks forward to expanding her acting capabilities and feels her role as Lt Commander Piper will stand out among all of her other roles she has played.

After her extended years at the Academy, she was assigned as Junior Science Officer aboard the U.S.S. Da Vinci where she impressed Captain Bennett. It was Bennett who later recommended Pyper to Commodore Grissom for placement as Science Officer aboard the Dominion.

 

Pyper served aboard the U.S.S. DaVinci until it was decommissioned in 2254. She then served on the U.S.S. Essex as Science Officer before being assigned to the Dominion, becoming it’s First Science Officer.

 

 and kids seem to be naturally drawn to him.

 

Ashy child, more comfortable with books than people, Craig ultimately broke from his shell to tackle acting at age 35, only after graduating with a BA in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice, just 12 short years after first obtaining his PHD in the School of Hard Knocks.

 

Craig credits his beautiful and loving wife for continuing to encourage him to purse the joyful insanity that is acting, and his six rescue dogs who give him daily, if not hourly, inspiration to look for and yap at things that aren't always there.

When his Father was killed in the Cromwell Nebula incident, he asked for a transfer to the Dominion, wishing to learn more about the crew and the Captain he had seved with. His tranfer to the Dominin came just days before the Constellation was destroyed by a computer malfunction with all hands lost.
