TERRY SELF was born in Johnson City, TN, but spent his formative years in the sprawling metropolis of Greenville, SC, graduating from Southside High School back in the 1900s.
He went on to earn a Communications degree from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. Currently, he provides on-air traffic reports for radio stations in Charlotte, NC, Greenville, SC, Greensboro/Winston Salem, NC & Harrisonburg, VA.
DAVID R WRENN graduated High School in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1970. He then majored in Architectural Technology in nearby Jamestown, NC. Randy has been a draftsman for most of his adult life. In 2011, he attended CPCC in Charlotte, NC where he earned an A.A.S. degree in Web Technology.
Randy has loved to write since an early age. He has written short stories, poetry and songs for decades.
GARY DAVIS graduated High School in Newark, Ohio in 1983. He entered the US Navy in December 1983 serving 22 years in a variety of air, sea, and shore based assignments. Gary ended his military career serving six years in Navy Recruiting first as the Senior Navy Liaison to the the Military Entrance Processing Station for Enlisted Programs, Cleveland, OH, and then the Ohio NROTC Coordinator as part of the Officer Programs. He attended Florida Central College of Jacksonville, where he received his AS in Computer Information Systems Analysis. He now works for a furniture franchise company as their IT Manager and Office Manager.
Gary’s military decorations include, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, four awards of the Navy Achievement Medal, five awards of the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Joint Expeditionary Medal and several unit awards.
In the summer of 2009 , he is married to the former Tracey Goodhue and they now have three children, Jeremy (1987), Christopher (1989), and Daniele (1997).
JESSICA RICHTER is Marketing Director for a real estate agent in Charlotte, NC and a graduate of Appalachian State University.
She is artistic in many ways. She's an amazing cook, a talented cake decorator, and sings like a pro.
Now she can add voice acting to her list impressive list of talents.
JOHN LACKEY graduated high school in Jacksonville, Florida in 1999, where he was born and raised.
In 2003, he went on to attend Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama where he studied Theatre. During his time at the university he acted, wrote and directed a one act play called Isosceles. He also acted in Star Spangled Girl, Kentucky Cycle, Importance of Being Earnest, Our Town, A Wonderful Life and several other productions.
In 2008, John returned to Jacksonville where he continued his acting career in short films. He is also musically talented. Currently he is working on several projects, where he plays the bass, keyboard and sings.
KIM HAAS is originally from Indiana, she moved to Illinois with her family. Her career has been in Quality Assurance and Inventory Control. Her involvement in Star Trek Fan films began a few years ago when she met Michael Day and John Broughton at Shore Leave Science Fiction Convention in Maryland. A fan of the original Star Trek series it was a natural connection.
As an embroiderer she has done work for fan films and looks forward to new challenges and opportunities. She is also a surfer, traveler, reader, wanna be musician and some things that haven’t been thought of yet.
John TorakTu Mieske is a high school graduate who got his push to be a graphic artist by one of his heroes, the artist from Disney, under Pixar Studios, Victor Navone. Victor replied to one of Johns emails and that was all it took for john to find his new found love for CGI. He has been making artwork and animations ever since.
CAPTAIN KRUGER Once Captain of a salvage vessel, he now Captain's the Liberty. He is loved by his crew and feared by his enemies. He is as quick to devise a plan as he is to crack a joke.
QUINCY A member of the Q Continuum, his powers are god-like, but he is currently laying low, studying a lowly spieces called Humanity.
Q PRIME We're not sure of his real name. He is a higher ranking member of the Q Continuum to which Quincy reports.
BILL KLINE A simple, blue collar man with a knack for engineering. He is good natured but don't get him rylled. He's a good friend to have by your side whether you're on your way to a pub or a fight... or both.
SHERRIFF WESTWOOD The Sherriff would have been right at hime in the old west. He has been sherriff for as long as anyone can remember. He keeps the peace even if it means kicking some posterior.
CAPTAIN BLAKKA'N He is the Captain of a huge Cantrainian Battleship. He is used to being feared, respected, and blindly obeyed.
TOM BRODY He lives with his Mother, or his Mother lives with him. Nobody is quite sure which. His intelligence is often under estimated. While he isn't the greatest conversationalist, he is a brilliant navigator, and you couldn't ask for a more loyal friend.
On the Liberty, he has taken the responsibility of taking the conn on occasion while the Captain is away.
ADRIAN KRUGER The Captain's wife is a force to be reconed with. Her easy going disposition and a wicked sense of humor keeps everyone off balance, including the Captain.
JENNY KLINE Bill Kline's wife has never been much for space travel. She was always content to run the home and keep a finger on the pulse of the village.
ROGER MAYNARD A peace loving, easy going fellow who wanted nothing more than to settle down with his new bride and raise a family. He is deeply distressed by the loss of his wife, Chloe.
DOCTOR LAURA ENGLISH Formerly the doctor aboard the salvage vessel, Refuse, she is now learning the ropes in the state of the art sick bay aboard the Liberty.
CGI 3D Modeler and Animator We feel that John's illustrations and animations are a very important part of telling our story. They become almost a character of their own.
We are very proud to have John as part of our team.
DAN SCANLAN is a native New Yorker, born in the city in 1956. Then he spent his formative years in sunny Miami Beach before his family returned to NYC with sister Patricia and a Boston Terrier named Flick. That was when Star Trek first premiered on television, and the science fiction bug bit.
TRANSPORTER CHIEF STEVENS He keeps a cool head an even temperament despite always seeming to irritate Captain Kruger, but he is a very able and talented Transporter operator.
A graduate of St. John’s University with a degree in journalism, Dan attended some of the first Star Trek conventions in New York City and met David Gerrold (Tribbles) Issac Asimov and saw Shatner, Roddenberry, Nimoy and the original crew many times. Then he moved to where the career took him, working in Massachusetts and New Hampshire before becoming a news director at a Jacksonville, Fla. radio station. From there, he moved into television news, becoming an anchor and court and cops beat reporter. Then came the move to the dark side.
While doing stories on Farragut Films and its recreation of a starship film set to create Starship Farragut, Dreadnought Dominion and Star Trek Continues film productions, Dan met the studio principals. A lifelong desire to be part of that universe saw him ask the captain for permission to come aboard as a volunteer. That was three years ago, and Dan has done set construction, acting, audio work and production assistance for multiple film productions there since.
